Futsal Court gone to Waste

FUTSAL

The futsal court in Taman Desa Damai, Padang Lallang, Bukit Mertajam has now been abandoned and gone to waste as it has not been maintained for some while. The court which has only been build a few years ago cannot be used anymore by the residents of the area as shrubs and weeds have crawled up fences and grown on the floor of the court.

The image above shows the current condition of the futsal court. This court that has been kept under the supervision of the neighbourhood committee or the "Rukun Tetangga" of Taman Desa Damai remains locked at all times unless it is rented and payed before usage. Such charges will definitely allow the committee to be able to spend on maintenance and preservation of the courts condition.

SPT News received this complaint from one of the local residents and we deeply regret seeing such an useful sports facility for the local people gone to waste. We will inform and alert the MPSP and the local neighbourhood community on this issue and ask for this court to be restored to the condition it was before. We thank the people for voicing out your problems to us and SPT NEws will be your voice in this issue. Lets ensure a sustainable neighbourhood for all residents in Seberang Perai Tengah.

Together as a community!!!
