Bukit Tengah- The image above shows a junction right after the Bukit Tengah flyover bridge, heading to the entrance of Kampung Tok Panjang. This awful situation has been faced by the residents there for some time.

A concerned resident alerted SPT News on this problem, and requested for stern action to be taken. We were also alerted that failure to maintain cleanliness in that area produces pungent, bad smell, and invites pests and stray animals to the area. Moreover, this causes the resident to be exposed to diseases. Also highlighted was the bad conditions of the road, portholes patched up in an improper way and hardened concrete poured onto the road that makes the junction turn into a rough and bumpy way to go through

SPT News regrets of such situation occuring. We thank the residents for doing their part. SPT News will contact and inform the Majlis Perbandaran Seberang Perai (MPSP) to act immeadiately to handle this situation. we will also inform the Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) to look into the issue regarding the road condition as well. Every resident of Seberang Perai Tengah deserves to live in a clean, sustainable surrounding. Let us all work towards creating that enviroment.

Together as a community!!!
